Pharmacy certification programs:- National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence. NICE is an independent organisation responsible for providing national guidance on promoting good health and preventing and treating ill health. The Canadian International Pharmacy Association (CIPA) represents legitimate and licensed Canadian pharmacies that provide services to patients internationally. Since November 2002, CIPA has been the voice of Canadian international pharmacies at home and abroad.
The CIPA seal assures consumers that they are dealing with a CIPA member who has agreed to maintain some of the highest standards in the world. CIPA members are required to follow CIPA's strict safety standards.
Internet Mailorder Pharmacy Accreditation Commistion ,IMPAC is dedicated to the promotion of consumer safety and quality improvement. Their Goals:
Define quality and safety in a single set of domestic and international standards. Promote consumer safety through a standardized accreditation process.
Improve service performance. Provide a mechanism to assist the federal and state governmental agencies and professional and trade associations with quality and safety oversight. The Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD) Program Information NABP was established in 1904 to assist state licensing boards in developing, implementing, and enforcing uniform standards to protect the Public Health. Pharmacy boards from 50 United states, the District of Columbia, three US territories, eight Canadian provinces, two Australian states, and South Africa make up the Association membership. In response to public concern of the safety of pharmacy practices on the Internet, the Association developed the Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites (VIPPS) program in the spring of 1999. A coalition of state and federal regulatory associations, professional associations, and consumer advocacy groups provided their expertise in developing the criteria that VIPPS-certified pharmacies follow. To be VIPPS certified, a pharmacy must comply with the licensing and inspection requirements of their state and each state to which they dispense pharmaceuticals. In addition, pharmacies displaying the VIPPS seal have demonstrated to NABP compliance with VIPPS criteria including patient rights to privacy, authentication and security of prescription orders, adherence to a recognized quality assurance policy, and provision of meaningful consultation between patients and pharmacists.

persist throughout a person's life. The individual who suffers from OCD becomes
trapped in a pattern of repetitive thoughts and behaviors that are unproductive,

OCD usually have considerable insight into their own problems. Most of the time,
they know that their obsessive thoughts are senseless or exaggerated and that
their compulsive behaviors are not really necessary.

Re-evaluation Counselling is
a process whereby people of all ages and of all backgrounds can learn how to
exchange effective help with each other in order to free themselves from the
effects of past distress experiences. Re-evaluation Counselling theory provides a
model of what a human being can be like in the area of his/her interaction with
other human beings and his/her environment. The theory assumes that everyone is
born with tremendous intellectual potential, natural zest, and lovingness, but
that these qualities have become blocked and obscured in adults as the result of
accumulated distress experiences (fear, hurt, loss, pain, anger, embarrassment,
etc.) which begin early in our lives. Personal Health & Self Help Directory Life Research Universal's The Health Department Medem

Electro Convulsive Therapy, Electroconvulsive Therapy, ECT. Electro Shock Therapy Neurosurgery for mental disorder (psychosurgery)
(MIND). Neurosurgery for mental disorder (NMD), is a neurosurgical treatment on
the frontal lobes of the brain (the part behind the forehead), involving the
limbic system. The limbic system is a part of the brain concerned with functions
not under conscious control, and with emotional response. NMD is not generally
carried out to alter behaviour. It is usually used to treat severe,
incapacitating, non-schizophrenic mood disorders when all other attempts at
treatment have failed and the alternative is continuing suffering for the
patient. Nowadays, it is most commonly used to treat severe depression and
obsessive compulsive disorder. It is not considered to be curative, and people
who undergo NMD will probably continue to need psychiatric support following the
procedure even if it is considered to be a success. Journal of Neuropsychiatry
